ORDER POLICY

Your order 

Upon making your order, please do provide an email address where we can reach you if required.

We process your order within 1-3 working days of you making your order.

Your payment

For the billing address, please enter the address your credit card was registered for. This is to make sure that your bank accepts your payment. You have the option to pay via PayPal or pay via credit card. If you pay via PayPal, the site will redirect you to PayPal where you can log into your account if you have one, or can sign up for one. If you pay via credit card, the site will redirect you to CCAvenue where you can enter your credit card details.

Your order confirmation / invoice

To support eco-friendly purposes, we do not include a printed invoice in your shipment. If you pay via PayPal, you will receive a payment confirmation directly from PayPal to the email account you have provided to them. If you pay via credit card, we provide an electronic invoice upon processing your order. We send this electronic invoice to the email address that you provided in the online shop upon making your order. Please do also check your spam-mail just in case.

 


SHIPPING and DELIVERY POLICY

Orders are mailed in Eco Femme envelopes or plain shipping boxes, depending on the size of your order, and with Eco Femme’s return address noted on the item.

Shipment / Shipment confirmation

Orders are mailed through India Post. Once your parcel is posted, you can look for the shipment status online through the India Post “mail service” or via IPS Web Tracking by tracking your consignment number which we send to the email address that you provided upon making your order. Please do also check your spam-mail just in case. We would be happy that you receive your order smoothly. You can support this by tracking your parcel yourself regularly.

Delivery point

Orders are sent as ‘registered letter’. This means, that delivery handover might require a signature from you. If at the time nobody is present at the delivery address, the delivery person of your local post service might leave a note asking you to pick it up yourself. Just in case, please do check for this note in your letter box and with your neighbors. If you are unsure, track the location of your parcel online and check in with your local post office. In case you find out that your parcel is waiting for you to pick it up at your local post office, please do soon. We would be happy that you receive your order smoothly and to avoid your parcel being returned to us upon not having been picked up for too long. We hope to avoid additional shipping charges for you in case we have to send it to you again.

Approximate transit time for destination within India: through India Post speed-post, less than 7 days.

Approximate transit time for destination outside of India: through international registered parcel, 10 to 15 days.

To check the status of your order / where your parcel is

Once your parcel is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address that you provided upon making your order. This email contains the Registration/Tracking/Consignment Number of your parcel as well as instructions on how to check its status. Please do also check your spam-mail just in case. You can track its location through the India Post “mail service” or via IPS Web Tracking. We would be happy that you receive your order smoothly. You can support this by tracking your parcel yourself regularly.

Note: The international post tracking system is currently not working for US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand.

Shipping expenses

Posting charges are included in all purchases with shipping destination outside of India, and included for those purchases within India above Rs 400. For purchases below that, we include Rs 50 shipping expenses.

In case your parcel is returned to us because the address you supplied was incorrect or you did not keep track of claiming it in time before your local post office sends it back, we ask you to bear the extra costs.

For delivery destinations outside of India

While in general, this does not happen to the parcels we send, your parcel may be subject to customs or duty fees upon arrival in your country. Customs policies vary from country to country and fees can be charged for parcels exceeding a certain value. Please keep this in mind at the time of purchase. If in doubt, please check yourself with your local post office prior to ordering. Eco Femme does not bear responsibility for this: You are responsible for any customs or duty fees on your order and Eco Femme cannot grant refunds.

Lost package policy

In case after 18 days you have not received your order, please 1. track your parcel online, and 2. check with your local post office and neighbors to locate it, maybe it was delivered in your absence, 3. do feel free to get in touch with us.

Parcels are considered lost if they don’t reach within 21 business days after shipment. If that is the case, please contact us regarding your order at order@ecofemme.org.

Incorrect address policy

You are responsible for making sure that the address you have provided when you check-out of the online shop is accurate. This is the address we will use to ship your order. In case you note that the shipping address you provided is incorrect, please contact us immediately (order@ecofemme.org). In case your parcel is returned to us due to incorrect address provided by you, we can reship it at your expense. Reshipment is only available once your parcel has been returned to us.

Unclaimed parcel policy

In case your parcel is returned to us because you did not keep track of claiming it in time before your local post office sends it back, we ask you to bear the extra costs. Reshipment is only available once your parcel has been returned to us.


 

CUSTOMER POLICY

Customer complaints

We hope you’ll be satisfied with your Eco Femme pads! However, in the event that you experience a problem with your purchase, we ask you to let us know the reason of your discontent so that we can find the best solution for you. To make suggestions contact us by email at order@ecofemme.org.

If you have purchased Eco Femme products from a re-seller, we do not accept returns nor offer replacement. In this event, visit or contact the store where you purchased the products.

Cancelling or changing your order before shipment

You can cancel and change your order if you contact us before it is shipped. In this case we advise you to directly drop us an email at order@ecofemme.org asking for a refund and stating the reason for it.

Cancelling your order after shipment

If you wish to send back your order , you have 45 days (from the date of purchase) to ask for a refund and mail us back the products (mailing costs at your charge). Please note that the refund will only happen once we receive the products at our office. You will not receive a refund on the transport cost.

Our commitment to privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To make you feel how we, Eco Femme, protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The information we collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on our website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

How we use information

We, Eco Femme, use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive our newsletter as well as updates on our new products and services. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the registration form.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Data security and our service providers

To run our online shop we, Eco Femme, use 3 different service providers. WooCommerce is the plateform on which the eshop runs while PayPal and CCAvenue are the payment gateways. Those service providers won’t use your personal data after your purchase with us.
