Our Sumo Style belts are GOTS certified organic cotton-covered elastic belts with adjustable sizing. They can be used with Eco Bebe cotton squares or any piece of fabric that can be folded to create the desired amount of layers.
This style of using a cloth with a belt is perfect for hot climates and is also a super practical and effective tool to:
- Become aware of your baby’s pee and poop rhythms which are intrinsic to their health
- Gently and easily start potty training – untucking and retucking is far more simple than fiddling with pants for potty!
- Support elimination communication*

Elimination Communication (EC) is the practice of learning when your baby needs to do a pee or poop and helping them go to an appropriate spot - be it a potty, bucket or patch of grass!
