Nos alegramos de compartir e intercambiar con ustedes, experiencias e informacion interesante sobre la menstruacion en sus distintos aspectos: Salud- Ecologia- Educacion- Empoderamiento. Esto surge de una investigacion sobre los proyectos, acciones, emprendimientos que se estan llevando a cabo en España y Latinoamerica en relacion a la menstruacion sostenible. Conoci las toallitas de Eco Femme en mi primer visita a India el anio pasado. En ese momento no tuve tiempo de investigar sobre el proyecto, pero comence a usar las toallitas. Durante el 2016 comence en mi ciudad en la Patagonia Argentina un emprendimiento que ofrece productos naturales para la menstruacion. Esto me abrio la puerta a compartir con mujeres, asistir a circulos de expresion, de trabajo con el utero, a comenzar a trabajar mas profundamente con la menstruacion y en la sanacion de mi sagrado femenino.
En Argentina y todo Latinoamerica hay un gran movimiento que esta ocurriendo en relacion a recuperar nuestros saberes ancestrales, nuestra energia femenina, el amor y cuidado, el acompaniarnos como hermanas.
Tambien, hay varias mujeres emprendedoras que confeccionan hermosas toallitas, aunque la mayoria de las mujeres que prefiere una menstruacion natural, utiliza la copa menstrual. Este recurso no ha llegado hace tantos anios, considero que hace 5 anios comenzo a ser mas difundida y aceptada.
Personalmente, creo que la relacion que se establece con la menstruacion utilizando las toallitas, hace que nos conectemos de una forma mas cuidadosa, respetuosa y comprometida con el ciclo. Y es recuperar los saberes de las abuelas que nos precedieron. Cuando regrese a Auroville este anio, me contacte con Eco Femme para ofrecer las toallitas en mi pais, visite el proyecto y comence a colaborar en la difusion a Espania y paises de habla hispana. Lo que me enamoro de Eco Femme es el compromiso social con el que llevan a cabo su tarea. Este prima por sobre todas las cosas, hay mucha transparencia y respeto en el trabajo diario, y el foco esta puesto en que las toallitas puedan llegar a la poblacion mas desfavorecida. Esto es excelente, porque en este momento lo natural y organico parece una moda, una moda conciente, pero mucha gente no puede acceder a esto, por falta de conocimiento y de recursos. Este aspecto resono mucho en mi, y reforzo mi compromiso en el activismo menstrual. Otro aspecto que deseo expresar, es que compartir el trabajo con el equipo de Eco Femme me permitio ver y sentir el carinio y amor de la energia femenina, y la fuerza que se genera en la union por objetivos altruistas.
(English: I met Eco Femme Cloth pads on my first visit to India last year. At that time I did not have time to research the project, but start using the pads. During 2016 in my city in Patagonia Argentina, I found an enterprise that offers natural products for menstruation. This opened the door for me to share with women, to attend circles of expression, to work with the uterus, to begin to work more deeply with menstruation and in the healing of my sacred feminine.
In Argentina and all of Latin America there is a great movement that is occurring in relation to recovering our ancestral knowledge, our feminine energy, love and care, accompanying us as sisters.
Also, there are several enterprising women who make beautiful wipes, although the majority of women who prefer a natural menstruation, uses the menstrual cup. This resource began to be more widespread and accepted on just the past 5 years or so.
Personally, I believe that the relationship established with menstruation using cloth pads, makes us connect in a more careful, respectful and committed to the cycle. And it is to recover the knowledge of the grandmothers who preceded us. When I return to Auroville this year, contact me with Eco Femme to offer the clothpads in my country, visit the project and start collaborating in the diffusion to Spain and Spanish speaking countries. What I fell in love with Eco Femme for is the social commitment with which they carry out their task. This premium over all things, there is much transparency and respect in the daily work, and the focus is on the cloth pads reaching the most disadvantaged population. This is excellent, because at this time natural and organic products seem fashionable, but many people do not have access to this, due to the lack of knowledge and resources. This aspect resonates a lot in me, and I reinforce my commitment in menstrual activism. Another aspect that I want to express, is that sharing the work with the team of Eco Femme allowed me to see and feel the affection and love of feminine energy, and the strength that is generated in the union by altruistic goals.)
